The people we don’t see

 One day you will wake up and realize who was always in your corner. At times, we crave and yearn for attention from the wrong people because of our inner turmoils, inner trauma. At the end of the day, we realize that who we thought would have our back, we would begin to see it clear. The truth although it is unsettling to the parts of us that want to believe the lies, truly will set us free. 

Sometimes it is the people that are relentlessly putting forth the effort in being in our lives, that are safe for us. But our inability to see them is costly. Until God opens our eyes to see who was always there, we will forever give positions in our lives to people that hold space yet leave a vacancy in our soul.

Pray that God would open your eyes to cherish, appreciate and love the people that he has placed in our lives. To not take them for granted, and to expect that they will always be there. Relationships are meant to be reciprocated. We are meant to love and be loved.
