Rookie mistake:You can't help everyone! part 1

 You can't help everyone...

You can't be here for everyone...
No need to waste your time or energy.

For quite a while. I found it difficult to understand people. I was wasting time and energy, helping the ones that don't need my help. And getting all heart-stricken by it.
It was very hard to get along with others, because I was forcing them to understand me, which they didn't want to understand.
I wanted to hang with people, who didnt care much. They didn't give two cents about me. Yet I pushed and strived to be a part of their lives.
In case you didn't know.... I'm a pretty persistent gal.
I rarely gave up on people. But all my energy was being wasted trying to help one person, that just did not get it.
At that point, I have to be convinced, to stop being a parasite. To stop holding on. Just let it go!


I could never understand why I would lose so much strength and passion.
I gave it all, to those who didn't value what I was giving. That's why I needed conviction.
The Holy Spirit is our comforter here to bring conviction at Heart concerning much.
I remembered one of my brothers had preached a message concerning being convicted to truly turn from sin, bad habits, to change a mindset, you need to be convinced. If you're not convinced that something is bad, you can't turn from it. Im telling you, God had worked to do.

The heart of a man is deep. It cannot be changed easily. Without an act of God.
God had to convinced me of this reality.
We simply cannot give our all, if its not valued. You're emptying yourself, but who's actually receiving. We give to the wrong people, that misuse what is given, or they don't receive what is given. You give and give, wasting your strength. They're sucking you dry. Taking out of you. But they're not even giving back.

Yes, we must help others. Jesus teaches us to do good to others. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. But guard your heart, you might get burnt out, without precaution. But there are people that do not need help. There are much opportunist. We go back to God feeling hurt and disappointed, because we've been used the wrong way. But we were made to give ourselves completely to God. All of our emotions, our heart, the things we can't entrust to man should be given to God. It will save less hurt, less pain to deal with. You get to see who really needs help. It's not everyone who values the help, we give at times.
Jesus had many followers, using him because they needed food, but they did not want his teaching. They didn't want to be rebuked. They didn't want advice. I admire Peter , because he often got rebuked. But stayed and perilously kept fighting with himself to keep going in his walk. Even though he betrayed Jesus three times.
Everyone needs help...

But now, don't use this EVER as a means to not help others, because of fear of getting hurt.(lack of knowledge). Hurt is inevitable from others. But we could avoid and keep ourselves from being seriously hurt. That is not the point. The point is what I want to be understood. Be lead by God. Take precautions.
